As RBC expanded throughout the

Castries
RBC opened this branch in 1920, closed it in 1932 and then re-opened
it in 1960.[1] |
1964 (20 FE) Castries, St.
Lucia air mail letter to New York, NY. 15¢
plus 10¢
paying the 25¢
air mail letter rate to the US, effective January 1, 1963. Staff applied

The U.S. International Postal Rates, 1872-1996 lists the 25¢ incoming air
mail from St. Lucia as effective December 1, 1965[2]. I'm grateful to
the members of the British West Indies Study Circle (www.bwisc.org)
for confirming the actual effective date was 1 Jan 1963. Therefore,
the postage paid is correct, and not short-paid. |
